Job description: A healthcare facility in the Greater Philadelphia area needs a Lead Network/Security Engineer to join their team. This job operates on a hybrid/remote schedule.
The Network/Security Engineer will work on upcoming upgrade and deployment projects. Daily operations include configuring routers and switches, setting up VLANs, and setting up site-to-site VPNs. This is a team lead position, so someone with a foundational understanding of network engineering, network security, firewall, and management experience is required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Set up checkpoint firewalls
- Install and upgrade firewalls
- Cisco ISE-deploy
- Set up network equipment
- Routing and switching work
- Network subnetting
- Log management is a plus
- Zerotrust is a plus
- Network access and network detection and response
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
- 70% Network
- 30% Security
Daily Responsibilities
- 60% Project work
- 40% Day to day maintenance
