Job description: A healthcare company in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking to add a Network/Security Engineer to their team. This is a permanent position and is conducted on a hybrid/remote basis.
This Network/Security Engineer role is looking for someone to focus on upcoming implementation and upgrade projects within the company. The day to day includes configurating routers and switches, VLAN setups, and creating site to site VPNs. This is a team lead position that needs someone with core network engineering and network security experience within firewalls.
Required Skills & Experience
- Set up checkpoint firewalls
- Install and upgrade firewalls
- Cisco ISE-deploy
- Set up network equipment
- Routing and switching work
- Network subnetting
- Log management is a plus
- Zerotrust is a plus
- Network access and network detection and response
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
- 70% Network
- 30% Security
Daily Responsibilities
- 60% Project work
- 40% Day to day maintenance
