Need Cloud Voice Engineer in Nashville, TN 37011I’ve been asked to provide 1 on-site resource for 40-hr work weeks on a 12-month contract here in Nashville, TN.The engagement would require knowledge of cloud voice (Zoom Phone) and the ability to identify if an issue is network or platform related (level one troubleshooting), plus perform standard MACDs in the admin portal.Is this something you can help me source? As part of our expansion, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Voice Engineer with expertise in Zoom Phone to join our dynamic team.Position Overview:As a Cloud Voice Engineer specializing in Zoom Phone, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud voice infrastructure. You will leverage your knowledge of Zoom Phone to troubleshoot issues, differentiate between network and platform-related problems, and execute standard Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACDs) in the admin portal. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud voice technologies, network troubleshooting, and platform administration.Responsibilities:Cloud Voice Operations:Manage and maintain the Zoom Phone cloud voice infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates and patches, to keep the platform secure and up-to-date.Issue Identification and Troubleshooting:Conduct level one troubleshooting to identify and diagnose network or platform-related issues impacting Zoom Phone services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalations in a timely manner.Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.MACDs and Platform Administration:Execute standard Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACDs) in the Zoom Phone admin portal based on user requests and business requirements.Configure user profiles, call routing rules, and other settings to meet specific customer needs.Provide guidance and support to end-users on utilizing Zoom Phone features and functionalities effectively.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in managing Zoom Phone infrastructure and user accounts.Conduct periodic audits and assessments to maintain the integrity and security of the cloud voice environment.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Proven experience working with cloud voice solutions, with a focus on Zoom Phone.Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.Experience with VoIP technologies and standards, such as SIP, RTP, and SDP.Proficiency in troubleshooting network and platform-related issues in a cloud environment.Familiarity with administering cloud-based communication platforms and portals.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Zoom Phone certifications or training.Experience with other cloud voice platforms such as Microsoft Teams Calling or Cisco Webex Calling.Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for streamlining operational tasks.Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.Engagement terms:

- Hourly rate/Monthly salary: $30-35/hr. ONLY on 1099 basis. (Based on shift) Please provide the best hourly rate and monthly salary. (The candidate should have their certificate of Professional and general liability insurance that is typical of an independent contractor for 1099)
