The selected candidate will ideally be able to work throughout the school year and summer, for an average of 20 hours per week or less (with flexibility during the school semesters given class schedule and course load).The pay rate for a college intern is based upon the students’ academic status:Undergraduate student rate of pay – $16.93 per hourGraduate student rate of pay – $20.59 per hourMajor/field of study should be in: Information Technology, Computer ScienceJob duties:

  • Perform fundamental tasks using a limited/basic understanding of high-level programming languages(s) in support of application development through instruction or mentoring by senior software developers or information technology supervisors
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages. Produce code using .NET, ASP, C#, MVC, SQL, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SSRS or similar
  • Develop quality assurance procedures
  • Test, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing applications
  • Participate in requirements analysis, gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
