Performs professional work for Partnership Health Center (PHC) to identify and classify cyber risk, help shape remediation efforts and lead projects related to security assurances for internal technologies and external service providers. Servers as a point of contact for IT networking and assists in maintaining PHC server and network health.

Representative Examples of Work

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: (The following are intended to illustrate typical duties; they are not meant to be all inclusive or restrictive.)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Identifies, assesses, measures and monitors information security, disaster recovery, and compliance risk. Creates, tests and validates security controls to provide assurance that controls are effective, and coordinates remediation efforts.

Responsible for implementation and administration of network security hardware and software (including firewalls, VPNs, and other security products). Enforces network security policies and compliance activities.

Participates and provides leadership in planning for long range information systems solutions responding to both user needs and technological advances.

Participates in project management providing professional assistance including technical design.

Develops project time estimates. Maintains and supports multiple projects and deadlines. Develops, documents, and assists with auditing procedures to assure accuracy and reliability of information processing operations. Acts as point of contact for relevant internal and external audits related to Information Technology Security.

Coordinates with PHC IT Leadership to develop policies and procedures for identifying, tracking, and resolving network and IT security risks and regulatory requirements.

Assists in the administration of PHCs server and core systems infrastructure; and local and wide area networks.

Serves as a liaison between Information Security, Information Technology, Missoula County and various oversight committees. Collaborates with others to address security questions and responds to partner inquiries. Validates requests for changes or modifications to new and existing Information Technology services within PHC.

Acts in a leadership role within the PHC IT Cyber Security team. Acts as liaison with Cyber Security consultants, identifies and mitigates database cyber vulnerabilities

OTHER DUTIES: Performs related work as required or directed. There is an expectation that in the case of a system or network down issue, after hours work may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelor’s degree. Degrees best suited to this position are computer science, information systems, or software engineering. Relevant programming, security, or database certifications desired.

EXPERIENCE: Requires three years of experience in implementing information technology infrastructure and management applications. Experience in project team leadership desired.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires passing a criminal background check. Requires immunizations or proof of immunity to certain infectious diseases and a TB test. New employees will be asked to volunteer vaccination status for required vaccines upon hire and will be offered assistance during hiring to receive necessary immunizations. Employees who have not received the vaccines required for their positions or who are unwilling to voluntarily provide vaccination status for required vaccines will receive a reasonable accommodation where such accommodation does not require an undue hardship or endanger the health or safely of any person.

Physical/Environmental Demands

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: The work is performed at a desk and requires extensive key boarding. Work requires little physical activity and the employee commonly remains in an office setting. May involve light lifting (10-20#) and visiting a variety of office sites. May include after hours or on call work. The work is performed in a medical office setting and may expose the employee to communicable diseases

Expected salary: $27.61 per hour
