RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identify and manage system efficiency across all network devices, internet connections, and internal network setups, including Fortinet Firewalls & switches.
- Keep track of hardware usage, system flow, and licenses, taking timely action to maintain performance and resource balance.
- Handle technical inquiries from end-users via phone, email, or in person, providing prompt and courteous solutions.
- Establish security measures and strategies to protect networks from unauthorized access, selecting appropriate technologies.
- Maintain departmental ticketing systems to facilitate project coordination and management tasks as needed.
- Manage user account information, including access permissions and security settings.
- Supervise both on-site and off-site hardware, software, and equipment in remote data centers.
- Set up, troubleshoot, manage, and monitor the organization’s wide-area network, including Fortinet Firewall and switch configurations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science related field highly preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Network Infrastructure Administration support desired
- 7+ years of operational technology infrastructure support
- Expert-level experience of Cisco Networking and core routing/switching
- Excellent knowledge of Fortinet Firewall
- Experience in enterprise backup, system monitoring, antivirus, network security, LAN/WAN management and storage administration.
- Proficient in effective communication and analytical reasoning.
- Skillful at conveying technical ideas clearly through verbal and written channels.
- CCNA certification or equivalent background mandatory.
- Profound familiarity with sophisticated enterprise data protection, system oversight tools, cybersecurity measures, and network infrastructure management.
- Willingness and capacity for travel.
